1. Approve March minutes

Diane approved, Joe’ll seconded, all in favor.

2. Professional development

Lori brought information about the ASCCC Curriculum Institute and the ACTLA conference.

3. AB 705 Team

-Impact on ADC

Discussed that ADC would be the appropriate place to track success and persistence data when AB 705 is fully implemented.

-Basic Skills Budget

4. Clearing a student using multiple measures

           Lori brought a handout from the CAP conference to illustrate the complexity of                                    placing a student using multiple measures.

4. Review/ evaluate committee performance as per charter

Committee agrees that performance matched up to expectations outlined in the ADC charter this academic year.

6. Next year’s goals

        – Start looking at data before and after assessment/ placement changes

        – Revise Basic Skills Action Plan

         We agreed on above goals, with the addition of planning, implementing, and evaluating

           support systems that will be used in light of AB 705 implementation.
