On a motion by S. Eveland, seconded by J. Martinez and unanimously carried, the consent items were approved to move forward to the November 9th, 2016 District Board meeting.

On a motion by S. Eveland, seconded by M. Mayfield, and unanimously carried, the above program revision was approved to move forward to the November 9, 2016 District Board meeting.

On a motion by S. Eveland, seconded by M. Mayfield, and unanimously carried, the above new course was approved to move forward to the November 9, 2016 District Board meeting.
- IES 1565 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards
On a motion by S. Eveland, seconded by A. Anderson, and unanimously carried, the above new course was returned to the division for clarification.
- IES 1061 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry
On a motion by V. Jacobi, seconded by S. Eveland, and unanimously carried, the above new course was returned to the division for further clarification.
- IES 1058 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction
Industry
On a motion by V. Jacobi, seconded by, J. Martinez, and unanimously carried, the above new course was returned to the division for further clarification.
- INTC 1100 Industrial Technology Capstone

The above five courses were pulled from The New Business section by V. Jacobi. It will be sent to the division for further clarification.
- DISCUSSION ITEMS:
- Charter – Membership

On a motion by J. Martinez, seconded by P. Arvizu, and unanimously carried the above Charter Membership changes were approved. Membership representation has been updated. This will move forward to the Academic Senate.
- AP 4021 – Program Discontinuation
The task force met and is still looking at the overall process. It was sent to Strategic Planning and further research is in the works.
- Ethnic Study Courses
The task force met and a much broader conversation is needed. This item will be discussed later as the subgroup meets.
