Bogle and seconded by S. Eveland to approve the minutes from the May 14, 2012 Curriculum and General Education Meeting. Swenson and seconded by V. Herder to approve the above course update (reviewed and approved previously by department faculty). Eveland<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Discussion of this item shifted towards the revision of ENGL 1500 and MATH 1060 as advisories instead of prerequisites and discussion ensued regarding the impact that higher prerequisites (if desired) might have on students. It was moved by Herder and seconded by G. Golling to move this item to the Academic Senate Committee for further discussion and research.
