{"id":50,"date":"2015-06-04T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-06-04T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ct-test-wp.taftcollege.edu\/sloasc\/?p=40"},"modified":"2015-06-04T15:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-06-04T15:00:00","slug":"friday-september-16-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/committees.taftcollege.edu\/sloasc\/friday-september-16-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Friday, September 16, 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MINUTES <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Friday, September 16, 2011<\/p>\n<p>12:10 p.m. \u2013 1:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Cougar Room<\/p>\n<p>Present: Linda West, Vicki Herder, Brandy Cramer, Geoffrey Dyer, Greg Golling<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Approval of Minutes from September 2, 2011 <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Minutes from September 2, 2011 were approved unanimously without changes.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Membership Update <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The following members are no longer on the committee:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>David Layne<\/li>\n<li>David Berry<\/li>\n<li>Candace Duron<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vicki is going to speak to Bill Devine about possibly recruiting new members.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Status update report from the SLO Coordinator <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Data upload complete: Fall 2011 has been uploaded into eLumen. A few suggestions were made about checking the data and distributing the work load. It will be the responsibility of faculty\/users to report any discrepancies within their course data to Brandy.<\/li>\n<li>Vicki gave an overview of the construction that has taken place in the restructuring of eLumen; programs listed as \u201cowners\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>A demonstration was given showing the Student Services side of eLumen and how the assessments will be done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Reports\/Feedback: <\/strong>Not everyone has had the chance to meet with their divisions. Will revisit this agenda item the next meeting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assigning Coordinators to Majors <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was suggested that the eLumen program coordinators be the same<\/p>\n<p>individuals that are the \u201cprogram leaders\u201d for Program Review. A list will<\/p>\n<p>be generated for Geoffrey, Linda and Greg to take back to their divisions. The responsibilities of the eLumen program coordinators will be included with the list.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Inservice Time: <\/strong>This was not addressed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The question of compensation for adjunct instructors and eLumen program leaders was addressed.
