Program Review Update
All Annual Program Review and Goal Submissions
Next Steps – Coordination of Review Process – Timeline
All Annual Program Review Reports and Goal Forms were due at the end of January 2016. A total of almost 70 Program Reviews and 109 Goal forms were submitted. The Committee discussed the next steps in the Program Review process. Items of discussion were:
The original due date for the SPC to review all Program Review and Goal forms was the month of February.
The Program Review process is well established so the focus will now switch to content.
In the past the content was not reviewed.
The members of SPC will review all Program Review submissions during the month of February through March.
Survey Monkey will be used to assess each Program Review. A set of questions have been developed along with a scale to rate each Program Review for content and improvement.
The questions on the survey are:
The mission is clearly defined
The scope of the program is clearly defined
Issues are well-identified
Program goals are based on identified issues
The program goals identify data to be used in evaluating those goals
Any quantifiable goals can be implemented and are achievable
Resource needs are clearly defined and aligned with goals
Plans and goals are aligned with institutional plans and goals (SAP, EMP, Equity Plan, 3SP, BSI, Student Success, Technology, etc.
Plans and goals are aligned with accreditation
Are the program review components filled out correctly?
Will a substantive change notice be triggered?
