1. Minutes of the November 1, 2013 meeting are being transcribed \u2013 5 minutes (8:30 am-8:35 am)<\/strong>
\n2. Governance Council Update \u2013 Vicki \u2013 5 minutes (8:35 am-8:40 am)<\/strong><\/p>\n

November 22, 2013 Meeting:<\/p>\n

Eric distributed packets for ranking Annual Program Review Goals with the deadline of returning the Prioritization Worksheet by December 6. Darcy and Mark reported on progress in establishing the Student Success and Student Access Committees. Adrian reported on progress in establishing a centralized Intranet site for TC committees. Brock distributed a revised Budget Development Calendar. Vicki Herder shared the DeAnza model for institutional planning. It was requested that Eric tailor it for Taft College and take the TC model to the SPC on December 6 with the goal of having it completed in time for recommendation to the Governance Council at the December 13 meeting.<\/p>\n

3. Budget Committee Update \u2013 5 minutes (8:40 am-8:45 am)<\/strong><\/p>\n

No update at this time.<\/p>\n

4. Report on Action Items from the Previous Meetings \u2013 All \u2013 15 minutes (8:45 am-9:00 am)<\/strong><\/p>\n

a. Cognos \u2013 moving forward with grant projects
\nb. Definitions \u2013 tabled \u2013 will be brought back
\nc. Key Success Indicators \u2013 to be defined in detail for next iteration of Strategic Plan in the spring. We should recommend benchmarking methods prior to then, spell it out so we have clear processes.
\nd. Integrated Planning Model \u2013 went to Governance Council for discussion, who recommended it be developed by Strategic Planning Committee and brought back to GC on December 13th.<\/p>\n

5. Integrated Planning Model \u2013 Eric \u2013 50 minutes (9:00 am-9:50 am)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong> Develop a draft model showing timelines for key process cycles.<\/p>\n

a. Identify key process cycles
\nb. Identify \u201canchor\u201d events and times<\/p>\n

Eric presented a version of the Integrated Planning Model to meet Taft College\u2019s needs. The committee members suggested several minor changes, and the revised version will be presented at the next meeting of the Governance Council on December 13, 2013.<\/p>\n

6. Other Items \u2013 All \u2013 10 minutes (9:50 am-10:00 am)<\/strong>
